Acer Iconia Tab A100Powerful, compact, easy to carry and even easier to use, the new Acer Iconia Tab A100 is perfect whether you need to work on documents after office hours or simply chill out with your favorite movie or eBook. With a 7” display and a weight of only 0.92 lbs., the Iconia Tab A100 is particularly comfortable to hold with just one hand, and as it’s so compact, it easily slips into your pocket or bag.

Plus, the 5MP rear and 2MP front cameras are just what you need for shooting photos, recording HD videos or video chatting with family from out of town.

With the Iconia Tab A100, you get all this at a very reasonably priced $329.99 for the 8GB version and $349.99 for 16GB. Or...how about winning one from Techlicious?

OOh So many things!

From Serenity on October 11, 2011 :: 12:10 am

There are dozens of ways it would be of great help, from having a reader, it would be my first smart phone and with a screen I could see to actually use some of the net features like maps.  I’d give it to my daughter because she is working super hard to make ends meet as in 3 jobs She is a custom seamstress and it would allow her to accept credit cards at crafts fairs, track and manage stock, be able to take a quick pic and send it to a client wanting some thing special. She is also a birth attendant and it would be super for all sorts of client related information, research, pictures,  etc. The reader would be extra special since she is so space limited with stock and being on call at the same time, and there is lots of waiting involved everywhere.  It would be terrific to get her one!

How would you use your new Acer Iconia tablet?
I would use it to find out whats happening in the world and I know I would be able to find anything and any place I search for. I have a old apple pc that is still dial up but its not a problem , I can use it like I have been for the last 15+ years . It hasnt stoped me from surfing the web yet and it probly will still work 20 years down the road. But if I had the new Acer Iconia tablet I know I would be able to surf the web faster then I have ever done befor. If I dont get one then I hope the person that gets one learns and gets alot of use out of there free Acer. thanks for your time and I got my fingers crossed

How would I use my new Acer Iconia tablet?

From David Mendenall on October 11, 2011 :: 1:47 pm

First I would use it for storing and reading my e-books. Second I would use it for movies and music. Thirdly I would use it for it’s input advantages, also writing & voice note taking. I would also use it to check-ins to certain social websites I’m involved. Of course it’s portability will not be ignored by me. I might use it with Skype video. Lastly, but not least, I will use it for study and tutorials.
I will find new uses for it after I get one.
... as for you, I hope you have a great day!

This will be an awesome

From Bellina Jacobs on October 11, 2011 :: 4:21 pm

This will be an awesome tool for myself to take on the road.  It is small enough to use for couponing and shopping for groceries.

It will also be great to have on the road with my son.  He would be able to access e-books, research historical facts he has discussed in school, download school lessons, etc.  Of course, I am certain he could find more entertaining activities such as video games, video chatting with family members, or watching videos.

It is also the perfect size for sharing family photos/videos when I meet up with a friend or relative and wish to share the latest memories captured of my son.

From Rebecca on October 12, 2011 :: 8:03 am

My husband has an Acer Iconia A500 (the 10.1 inch), and I love it, but it’s just too big for a lot of what I do - reading books, magazines, and websites, playing games, and watching the occasional movie or tv show on the go.  The A100 will fit in my purse much easier.  And if we both have a tablet, we can video chat when he’s away for work for several days.

More productive during my commute

From Lena on October 12, 2011 :: 11:26 am

I love my smartphone but the screen is so small that it’s difficult to do much reading on the device.  I’d love to have an Acer Iconia Tab to use on my commute to and from work to easily read the news and updates from my favorite blogs (and Facebook and Twitter, of course!). I’d download the Nook app so I could access some of my favorite magazines and newspapers as well as e-books.  I also like that it comes with Docs to Go to enable quick reading of any documents that come attached to my emails.  Best part, at 7”, I can easily slip the Tab into my bag when my train gets to my stop!
