Very portable to put in my purse! Checking e-mail, surfing the web and social media.

If I won the Acer Tablet, I would use it as a tool to assist me in providing intervention services to the students I have on my caseload.  I know they would definitely get a kick out of having this as a classroom tool.

I believe I would use is to donwload the King James version of the Holy Bible so I always had it at my fingertips.  I believe I would read the Bible more often.

i am really liking android these days!  i’m stuck with a not-so-nice windows device and would love to ‘upgrade’

I would love to start my own business and have the ability to be more mobile and showcase how technology can help me to do that.  It would give me a great sense of freedom!

My wife suffered a brain bleed 11 years ago and has some deficits as a result.  One deficit is stroke-induced glaucoma, making reading more difficult for her, especially in lower light.  With the Acer Iconia she would be able to read books electronically, choosing the best font for her.  She would also be able to connect with her facebook and e-mail from her recliner.

I am an avid reader, but due to glaucoma reading is getting more difficult, especially in lower light.  With the Acer Iconica I would be able to read e-books, setting the font for ease of reading.  This would make reading in bed much easier for me and would also give me access to the internet without having to sit at my desk-top computer.

I would take it to class with me… and to keep me entertained and help me study between classes. oh and games, lots of time wasting games. im a college student… isnt wasting time what college is about?

Okay, I’ve a small screen phone and a large laptop.  The phone is hard to see even with reading glasses, while the laptop is cumbersome to carry all the time.  I totally see where a tablet could be the perfect solution.  It’s big enough to see, yet small enough to fit in my purse or pocket for on the go, on the spot access to data.

. . . I know one of those Acers must have my name on it.

I don’t have a smart phone.  I have a dumb one.  It just calls people and in a pinch I can text.
I have learned that it is versatile and fun to use.  That sounds like something I would like a lot.

..so i would use this tablet instead of upgrading.

educational apps for grandkids

I am a news junkie and would use the smart phone to keep abreast of all the news.

If we won the Acer Iconia Tab A100 tablet, we would use it while traveling to keep track of our reviews as well as make new posts, along with showing some of the reviews from http://www.romanceroom.com on the tablet to the owners during their interview process.

I’m a budding entrepreneur and this tablet would become my office & virtual assistant. I think I’ll call her Tammy.

I would use this tablet to read books with my son. My son is starting to read on his own and I’d love to share use this tablet to help him enjoy reading even much more. Hope I will. Tamara Kelly

I would spend lots of time exploring.  And reading.  And playing games.  And checking websites.

I’d love to use it for recipes in the kitchen.  It’s a pain to haul the laptop in there.

I would use it in all three of my professional & leisure capacities

As a minister, having something larger than a cell phone but smaller/lighter than my laptop for Scripture references and scheduling would be great.

As a teacher, it would let me carry around all my files, lesson plans, etc. much more easily.

Finally, as both a digital and traditional (pen & paper) gamer, this would allow me to consolidate lots of info and have it with me as needed.

I would give the tablet to my husband to surf the web and play games during his medical treatments.

I would love to win the Acer.  I would give it to my grandson, who is 16 and unable to afford much since his Dad lost his job last year.

I have my own company and go from client to client. My smart phone allows me to accomplish a lot, but having the Acer Tablet would lead to increased productivity so I can be more beneficial to my clients.

On a cruise to Vietnam Nam this fall!  I would love the portability yet with a screen I can read!

I am a 3rd grade teacher and would use the tablet in my classroom for educational apps so that my students who normally wouldn’t have the opportunity to use this sort of technology would gain the knowledge in the classroom!

First, it would be mine, as my wife is always wanting to use another one we purchased for Mother’s Day.  No more fighting.
I enjoy news websites and keeping up with what’s going on.
I would search for business ideas prospecting as I am in sales so I would go to websites I believe are interesting and helpful.
I would use it as a form of communications that would be a lot easier that my Blackberry.
I would delve further into Techlicios recommendations as I did this morning on your iPad accesories.
I would see if I could Skype and keep up with my family. It is hard to schlepp my heavy laptop all over.
I would take it with me on my dog walks and when I stop for something, pull it out.
Here in Los Angeles Time Warner is introducing in the city their WiFi connection. Taking the Acer on the go will be much simpler.
I will bring it along while my wife is shopping, to make my experience even more enjoyable.

For my birthday, my husband gave me a tablet and I use it every day for fun and work.  My aunt was visiting us for a few weeks and I showed her the many ways it can be used.  I would love to be able to surprise her with her own Acer tablet.

I would use it to keep in touch with my son!

I am extremely technologically challenged, and have been desperately trying to educate and update myself on new technology!  I have been researching tablets for quite a while, and this Acer Iconia Tab A100 looks like a great fit for my use!  And, yes, I will share it occasionally with my 16 year old daughter and 9 year old son—books, Angry Birds, a plethora of information to be found!!!!

I want to hand it off to my teenage son so he leaves mine alone!

I travel a lot, as a medical consultant. I could put most needed files on a micro-SD and use the Iconia to replace nearly all of what I do on a laptop when out of town. No more lugging around a notebook charger, computer, briefcase. Plus, it would be handy throughout the day, as I travel from department to department, show clients important data, review reports & files I have prepared for them. Tablets are truly game-changers for people on the go.

I would love to win this! My phone can only do so much and I would love to be able to d/l books and read them on this tablet. Plus it’s android so I wouldn’t have to learn how to navigate around! It is also travel friendly since it’s small!

Wow, if I had one of those Acer’s than maybe everybody would quit telling me I live in the caveman days. Other than my 15yr old tv, and my landline phone, the most modern thing I own is my 2 month old desktop computer.

I would use it to surf the internet while watching tv, I have a laptop, but it is too big to use comfortably.

I am a Senior Citizen and I love using the latest technology to keep in touch with my family, my friends and my world. I think it is really important for older people to keep up with technology so that they can remain in the mainstream of what is happening in our world.  I have an old Acer laptop and would love to switch to the new Acer tablet.  Sign me up to win today.

I would give it to my husband.  He has been talking about wanting an Acer tablet for months.  It would be really convenient for him to take notes on it at business meetings.  It’s also nice to have something portable, but slighly bigger than a phone to check e-mail, search the internet, and keep our kids occupied when we are having to wait somewhere that they need to be still and quiet.
