This is a public forum and registration is free. All users must by the rules and policies detailed below and in the Techlicious.com Terms of Use. All postings you make in this posting will become public and may be accessed by anyone at anytime.
Although the administrators of the Techlicious Forum will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages. You acknowledge that all posts made to these forums express the views and opinions of the author and not the administrators or moderators (except for posts by these people) and hence Techlicious will not be held liable for the content of any message.
In light of our policy of encouraging candid, open exchanges of views and information originating from many sources, Techlicious cannot determine the accuracy of information that may be uploaded to the forum. You rely on such information at your own risk. You are urged to seek professional advice for specific, individual situations and not rely solely on advice or opinions given in the discussions.
The administrators of the Techlicious Forum reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason. We don’t intend to censor messages based on the opinions expressed within posts, but we will enforce the policies outlined both here and on the Forum.
By using this web site, you agree to be contacted by site administration, regardless of your account settings, when it becomes necessary to do so regarding your account activity.
By registering and participating in Techlicious Forum discussions you agree to the following rules and policies. In addition to the rules and policies posted here, you are required to follow any individual forum rules and policies which may be posted at the top of specific forum category. If you do not agree, you have the right to no longer participate in forum discussions at your own discretion.
General Rules for ALL Forum Categories
Your account is yours alone. You are responsible for any activity created with it. You may not share your account login with anyone. If you choose to ignore this important restriction your account, and any accounts associated with it, will be disabled.
If you SPAM our members in any manner, your account will be disabled. Do not contact anyone to suggest your product or service who is not explicitly expecting you to contact them. If you glean information from anywhere in our Forums and use that information to contact someone and present an offer, it’s SPAM.
Registration Rules
You are permitted a maximum of one account. If you choose to ignore this important restriction, all your accounts will be disabled. If you require assistance with your account, please contact us.
URLs or other forms of advertising (phone numbers, plans, contact details, etc.) are not allowed in any of the Forum registration fields.
You may not impersonate, or attempt to impersonate, Techlicious Staff, other users, or any entity you are not associated with.
Profile pictures and avatars cannot include sexually explicit or graphically intense images. Really. This isn’t the place for that.
Posting Rules
This is your community. Most people have a common sense feel for what is and what is not appropriate in our forums and, generally, do a great job of policing yourselves. However, we need to set clear policies in order to keep our community free of those who violate (whether intentionally or not) the rules or spirit of the forum. We take the “Be Polite” rule very seriously. We do not tolerate any rudeness. Any member who is intentionally unpleasant or disruptive may be banned without warning.
You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-orientated (except those clearly established for health or educational purposes) or any other material that may violate any applicable laws. Nor may you post a link, in any manner, to sites or images containing any of the above. Doing so may lead to you being immediately, permanently or temporarily banned from the forum. We also reserve the right to pursue other avenues to protect our community, including, but not limited to, notifying the service providers of those who we feel, in our sole discretion, are blatantly and intentionally violating these rules.
You may not post any type of advertising or promotion in the Forum. This includes, but is not limited to:
• Commission, referral or affiliate links
• Publishing or discussing any information regarding your product or services, or future (possible) products or services, or any product or services you are, or have been or are, associated with. This includes, but not limited to suggesting your own services, or services of partners, clients, employers or friends.
• You may only discuss details about your company and/or product offerings, or the offerings of your service partners, clients, employers, or friends, when the thread starter or poster has made direct reference to your company or product and stated something untrue or misleading, or something which clearly needs clarifying. The response must be in direct reference to the point discussed only and contain no added promotional information and/or fluff. If you wish to advertise on our site, please contact us at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
• You may not solicit users for any project or purpose external to the forum; public, private, or commercial. Our member base is not a resource to be “mined” by individuals, groups, or businesses, for profit or not for profit.
• You may not solicit the membership for feedback or suggestions on your product or services.
• You may not compensate anyone for any review or recommendation on this Forum.
Do not post words or URLs that are censored by adding spaces, dots, or substituting characters; or by any other means in an attempt to defeat any censors put in place by Techlicious. We don’t intend to censor frequently so, if we do, there probably is a good reason. Please contact us if you feel a word or URL is unjustly censored.
Do not bump threads by posting useless information or take any other action to deliberately keep a thread hot or to bring it to the top of its forum. If there is little activity in a forum topic, it often means that the community does not find it valuable.
Do not use this Forum to recommend, praise, or criticize products or services, or any company, if don’t really know anything about it or have little of value to add (e.g., “I heard xyz company stinks”). Ideally, you should have first-hand experience with those products or services. Posts which, in our opinion, are based on grossly limited knowledge may be removed without notice.
