Lenovo U300s UltrabookThink you have to pay a hefty premium to get a thin and powerful laptop with good battery life? Not if you’re getting an Ultrabook™.

Ultrabooks are a new class of ultraportable laptops that measure less than 21mm thick, get five or more hours of battery life, use a powerful Intel® Core i3™, i5 or i7 processor and wake almost instantly from a sleep state. All for around $1,000.

Ultrabooks are the perfect laptop for people on the go, easily slipping into a bag or briefcase and barely noticeable from a weight perspective - you’ll find yourself bringing your laptop more places than ever before. With their ultra-slim profile, they’re also a dramatic style statement.

The 13" Lenovo® IdeaPad® U300s is a perfect example of everything an Ultrabook has to offer:

  • 1.6GHz Intel Core i5 processor
  • 128 GB solid state drive (much faster than a hard drive)
  • Just 0.59" thick and 2.91 pounds
  • 8 hours of battery life.

We're giving away a Lenovo U300s ($1049 MSRP) to one lucky Techlicious subscriber, courtesy of Intel! Enter through February 24th, 2012 for a chance to win.

Tablet Giveaway

From Robin Forbes on January 24, 2012 :: 7:12 pm

Wow, let me count the reasons!
Actually, I could use one due to being on Social Security, and always having to buy (barely) used computers. Also, I am homebound, due to medical problems and surgeries, a major surgery that I’m going for within another month. My computer keeps me connected to everything, and can do my shopping on it. What did we do before them, I’m trying to remember…

What a great prize some blessed person is going to receive.  A nice, new computer is always exciting.  It’s been a while since I’ve had a new computer and although mine seems to be working fine at the moment, a new modern one would be nice.

This couldn’t come at a better time.  My daughter lives in Texas and I live in Arizona.  She doesn’t have a computer, and with two small kids, it’s not
likely she will be able to afford one any time soon.
This would let us communicate so much easier, and maybe we could get a web-cam and I would becable to see those precious grandkids more often!  Thanks for the opportunity.

In dire straits! Computer sure would help!!!♥

From Marjorie Silverman on January 24, 2012 :: 9:06 pm

I currently have a small netbook and it served its purpose for a while. Its time is up. I now have to go back to work for various reasons and this necessitates me producing large volumes of transcripts. I desperately need a really, really good laptop. This Lenovo happens to be exactly what I am looking for. It would be a dream come true. I’m not sure what we have to do in order to qualify here but all I can do is say how grateful I’d be if I were ever to win this wonderful prize.
