Making good movies and pictures is hard. Layer in 3D and it becomes even harder. But help is on the way in the form of an easy-to-use editing app, Roxio Creator 2011.

This Windows program takes you through capturing, editing, creating, and sharing 3D photos and videos. Plus you can convert standard 2D digital photos and home videos into 3D content using your existing library of photos and videos.

For photos (not videos) you can widen or narrow the offset distance the two pictures—one for the left and one for the right eye—thereby enhancing or reducing the 3D effect. For videos, simple functions have been included for image stabilization as well as rotating video clips between portrait and landscape.

Edit your 3D images in anaglyph 3D and output them in a format viewable on today's 3DTVs.

Don’t have a 3D monitor? No problem. You can choose to view your content in anaglyph 3D (a pair of red and blue glasses is included in the box) or in 2D, if you don’t have a 3D display. When you’re ready to share your work, you can output in a variety of 3D file formats and upload directly to YouTube and Facebook, among other options.

Available at Roxio.com for $100, the Pro version, which includes the ability to create 3D Blu-ray discs costs $130.
