zBoost METROAre there rooms in your home where you wish you could use your cell phone but you just don't get a good signal? An indoor signal booster, like the zBoost METRO from Wi-Ex, can help.

Designed for use in apartments and small homes, the zBoost METRO can boost signal for an area up to 1500 sq ft inside your home. Simply mount the zBoost METRO's antenna inside a window in your home where you get the best reception (using the included suction cups) and then place the base unit where you want to strengthen the cell signal.

Benefits include:

  • Supports multiple users simultaneously
  • Decreases dropped or missed calls
  • Easy to set up – comes complete with everything you need
  • No cradle or connections to your phone

Kitchen/Family Room

From Andreen Burler on September 27, 2011 :: 8:58 am

I use my phone mostly in my kitchen/family room. Sometimes if I turn to the right or left during the conversation, I lose the call!! It is embarrassing!!

I use my cell phone in the home office.

From Mike on September 27, 2011 :: 10:31 am

I use my cell phone all over the house. Our coverage is pretty poor in the bedrooms and so-so in the living room. It would be nice to improve coverage in the bedrooms!

Depends on the use...

From Peter on September 27, 2011 :: 10:43 am

As a voice device, I use it most in the living room or kitchen.  As a data device, I use it most in the bedroom…

Generally I wander around trying to keep a signal then give up and go outside.

In My Office/Bedroom

From Lethal Leprechaun on September 27, 2011 :: 11:02 am

For some whacked reason the my signal drops off at night and since we have no house phone its important we have decent signal all the time. Numerous times we have gone into the bed room early at night only to discover the following morning or hours later we have missed calls.
One of these times its going to be one of those important but dreaded in the middle of the night emergency deals

For emergencies

From Julimar on September 27, 2011 :: 11:09 am

I would definitely give this to my parents. They live in the country and they barely get any reception outside, let alone inside the house. My old bedroom and the living room used to get a little bit of reception so I think if they place the zBoost there, they would be able to use their cell phone which would mean peace of mind for me in case of an emergency.

Black Hole

From Maria on September 27, 2011 :: 11:14 am

My bedroom (where I make most of my important and personal calls) is the black hole of cell signal death.  99.99999% of the time the calls are dropped and the only thing the person on the other end gets is beep, bah, bo, eee, oohh…you get my drift.  If a signal booster would help I would be all kinds of happy.

use it in the home office

The home office is where I use my cell phone and I have to sit just right to get service-this would be perfect

I have recommended the zboost product to friends and neighbors, but have been too cheap to buy one myself.  Could use signal help in the bedroom and kitchen; if I ever get injured, it better be in the living/dining room!

Just learned about this - might be the answer to 50% of the bad reception in NYC!

From Linda on September 27, 2011 :: 8:56 pm

Usually in front of my iMac—the den—if it’s business; and the living room if it’s social—unless I need my iCalendar!

My Cell Phone Drops Calls

From Lydia Rose Montana on September 27, 2011 :: 9:30 pm

My cell phone cuts out & drops calls in EVERY room in my small, 2 room apartment - sometimes I can’t even get a signal. This is due to interference from the hospital across the street, with all the stuff on their roof - plus, I live in a high rise surrounded by brick, steel, & concrete. I could really USE a Wi-Fi zBoost signal booster !

From Richard on September 27, 2011 :: 9:32 pm

use in the kitchen

Bedroom.... I have "iffy" cell

From Nancy on September 27, 2011 :: 11:20 pm
