Apple Watch deals don’t usually get interesting this early in the product cycle, but the Apple Watch Series 11 is back down to $299 at Amazon, $100 off its regular $399 price. That matches the lowest price we’ve seen for the 42mm aluminum GPS model and brings Apple’s newest mainstream watch into a much more reasonable range for anyone who has been waiting to upgrade.
This is not the watch I’d tell Series 10 owners to rush out and buy. The year-over-year changes aren’t dramatic enough for that. But if you’re using a Series 9 or earlier – or buying your first Apple Watch – this is the price where the Series 11 becomes easy to recommend. In my earlier coverage, I called out the better battery life, tougher Ion-X glass, and 5G on the cellular model as the meaningful upgrades, and those are still the features that matter most in everyday use. Apple also added hypertension notifications and sleep score, though those come through watchOS 26 and are available on some older models, too.
The practical appeal is simple: Apple Watch remains one of the best iPhone accessories because it turns your wrist into a health tracker, notification screen, safety device, and workout companion without requiring much thought. You can track sleep, workouts, heart rate trends, ECG readings, fall detection, crash detection, and Emergency SOS, while still getting calls, texts, Apple Pay, and app alerts without pulling out your phone.
The Series 11 also fixes one of my long-running complaints about Apple Watch battery life. Apple rates it for up to 24 hours, up from 18 hours on the Series 10, and quick charging helps make sleep tracking more realistic if you wear it all day. The tougher glass is another practical upgrade. If you’ve ever scraped your watch against a countertop or doorway, the extra scratch resistance matters more than a flashy new design would.
There are two caveats. First, make sure you’re buying the model you want. The $299 deal is for the smaller 42mm aluminum GPS version, not the cellular model or larger case size. Second, Apple is expected to keep improving health features through software, so some benefits may come to recent older watches as well. That makes this a smarter upgrade from an older watch than from last year’s model.
Bottom line: If your Apple Watch is aging, scratched, slow, or no longer getting the features you want, this is a good time to buy. At $299, the Series 11 is not just discounted – it is priced where the real-world upgrades feel worth paying for.
Deal price: $299, usually $399 – 25% off
