HTC Grip with the HTC One M9

HTC used its Mobile World Congress stage to announce the HTC Grip, a new fitness band developed with Under Armour.

The waterproof Grip fitness band is designed to work with both Android as well as iOS devices, includes a curved 1.8-inch monochrome PMOLED (passive matrix organic light emitting device) display tracks the usual fitness, biometric and sleep performance data via with Under Amour's UA Record, provides access to network that tracks progress and provides tailor-made nutrition, injury prevention advice from fitness experts. You'll also be able to invite up to 20 friends to compete in custom fitness contests.

Grip, which will come in three sizes and two colors – deep teal and lime, is due this spring from HTC.com, Under Armour, Academy Sports + Outdoors, AT&T, Cabela's, Dick's Sporting Goods, Sports Authority and Walmart. No pricing was announced, however.
