The Chamberlain myQ Smart Garage Video Keypad, a camera-equipped entry keypad that opens your garage door, drops to $44.99 at Amazon for Memorial Day, 44% off its $79.99 regular price. It’s not the first time the Video Keypad has gone on sale, but this is the lowest price we've seen it at this year (only $0.99 higher than the all-time low), and a good time to pick it up if you've been on the fence.
What makes this more interesting than a standard keypad is the built-in 1080p wide-angle camera. You get a live feed through the myQ app, motion alerts, and two-way audio, so if a delivery driver shows up at your garage door, you can tell them where to leave the package without leaving your couch.
The PIN management is genuinely useful. You can create separate codes for different people – one for the dog walker, another for a repair person, a temporary time-limited code for a visiting family member – and the app notifies you each time a code is used. Works with any LiftMaster, Chamberlain, or Craftsman opener made after 1993, which covers the vast majority of garage door openers currently in homes.
One thing to know before you buy: the advanced features, including recorded video history and AI-powered detection for people, cars, and packages, require a myQ subscription. Chamberlain bundles a free trial, but you'll need to decide after that whether the plan is worth it. Live viewing through the app is free. The device runs on a rechargeable Lithium-ion battery, and there's an optional wired power adapter kit if you want permanent juice.
Deal price: $44.99, usually $79.99 – 44% off
