INIU Outdoor, the new outdoor line from INIU, launches with the Rugged Series, a set of rugged power banks and a solar panel, and a 100-min outdoor challenge with Strava that opens October 12.

The Rugged 10000 ($54.99) went on sale October 9, and the Rugged 20000 ($76.99) is due November 1. The Solar Panel 28W completes the series. Both power banks carry an IP67 rating, with the port cover closed, and can survive 30 minutes in up to a meter of water.

The INIU Outdoor x Strava 100-min outdoor challenge runs through November 11 and gives anyone who logs 100 minutes of outdoor activity a one-time code for 25% off the series, plus an entry into a prize giveaway.

Sealed against rain, sand, and drops

INIU designed the Rugged Series for wet trails, dusty switchbacks, and sandy campsites. With the IP67 rating, you're going to get excellent protection against rain, sand, and debris. The rounded, silicone-armored body keeps the power bank from scratching a phone, camera, or GPS unit when you stuff it in your pack.

For falls, the Rugged 10000 and Rugged 20000 power banks are drop-tested from 3.9 feet (1.2 meters) to MIL-STD-810G.

Inside, INIU's 18-layer SmartProtect system guards against overcharging, overcurrent, short circuits, overheating, and temperature-related risks. Each INIU Outdoor power bank also comes with a five-year warranty.

Two sizes, up to 65-watt charging

The Rugged 10000 is the compact pick. Its 10,000mAh battery comes in a palm-sized body measuring 3.6 by 2.3 by 1.1 inches and weighing 6.9 ounces (195.7 grams). It charges up to two devices at once, at up to 45 watts through dual USB-C ports, and it supports Samsung Super Fast Charging 2.0.

With those specs, INIU says it can charge your iPhone 17 to 63% in 30 minutes and deliver about 1.7 full iPhone 17 charges, 3.5 charges for a Garmin inReach Mini 3, and 4 to 6 charges for a two-way radio.

The Rugged 20000 is built for longer outings, with a 20,000mAh battery in a body measuring 4.3 by 2.9 by 1.1 inches and weighing 12.5 ounces (353.2 grams). Two USB-C ports and a USB-A port let it charge three devices at once, at up to 65 watts, enough for higher-power gear such as laptops, action cameras, and drones.

A black INIU Outdoor Rugged power bank with a carabiner clip sits on a lichen-covered boulder, connected by a cable to a gray folding drone with its propellers extended.

That extra capacity will deliver about three iPhone 17 Pro charges and 80% of a charge for a 13-inch MacBook Air.

For small gadgets such as earbuds and headlamps, both power banks offer Automatic Low-Current Mode, which charges at a slower rate to prevent overcharging.

A light, a mount, and a solar panel

As befits their outdoor focus, each power bank has a built-in flashlight, with three modes on the Rugged 10000 and four on the Rugged 20000. Steady white light helps find gear or light up a campsite, steady red lets you check maps or gear while preserving night vision and minimizing wildlife disturbance, and flashing red keeps you visible to your group at dusk or in low visibility.

An INIU Outdoor Rugged power bank hangs from the ceiling of a tent by its carabiner, with its built-in light switched on and casting a warm glow downward.

A detachable carabiner clips the power bank to a pack strap, and a standard 1/4-inch-20 tripod thread makes it tripod-ready for camp setups. LED battery indicators show the remaining charge at a glance.

The Solar Panel 28W ($79.99, sold separately) recharges the power banks off-grid. It outputs 28 watts, weighs 450 grams, and folds from 26.4 by 11.0 inches open to 6.2 by 11.0 inches, with a solar charging efficiency of at least 25.8%. Paired with the Rugged 20000, it keeps gear powered off-grid for up to three days. The Rugged 10000, Rugged 20000, and Solar Panel 28W are all airline-approved.

How the Rugged Series compares

Most rugged and outdoor power banks give up charging speed, portability, or protection. The Rugged Series avoids that trade-off. With IP67 protection, drop-tested ruggedness, light weight, and fast charging, tripod mounting, and a built-in light, these are the perfect solution for your outdoor adventures.
