Sony's beautiful 65-inch Bravia 8 II QD-OLED TV is down to $2,498 on Amazon, 24% off its $3,299.99 list price. It's a TV I highly recommend if you're shopping for a 65-inch flagship OLED.
QD-OLED is what separates this Bravia from a standard OLED set, and why it commands a premium over cheaper OLED options. Sony pairs its self-lit pixel technology with a quantum dot layer to push color volume and peak brightness higher than older OLED panels can manage. The result is deep, true black levels alongside brighter, more saturated color than a standard OLED delivers, and with its anti-reflective coating, you won't have to turn off the lights for movie night.
Sony's XR processor handles the real-time scene analysis and upscaling behind that picture, and the set runs at 120Hz with low-latency, variable-refresh-rate features that make it a strong match for a PS5 or PS5 Pro. Sony Pictures Core comes bundled with movie credits, so a handful of new releases are available to watch without an additional rental fee.
Other professional reviewers back me up on their love for this TV. TechRadar found the Sony's built-in sound "a clear notch above what you get on most other TVs" and crediting the set with a real gain in brightness over Sony's previous flagship OLED. If $2,498 is more than you want to spend on a 65-inch flagship, LG's 2026 C6 OLED is fairly comparable to the Bravia 8 II and is running $1,799.99 at the same size. LG uses a faster 144Hz WOLED panel rather than QD-OLED, so the LG has higher peak brightness and deeper blacks. But the LG can't match the Bravia's more vibrant colors or anti-glare coating, which you'll appreciate during the day and when the lights are up at night.
