Amazon just cut the price on the Fire HD 10 to $76.99, half off its $154.99 list price. That's an all-time low for this tablet and a significant drop below its previous low of $119.99.
Samsung's Galaxy Tab A11+, the closest current-generation Android alternative, typically sells for around $299 with an 11-inch display and a faster 90Hz refresh rate. At $76.99, the Fire HD 10 costs less than half that for a tablet built around the same basic use case: watching, reading, and browsing.
The Fire HD 10 is perfect for people who want a big screen without spending iPad money. Pair the Fire HD 10 with a Bluetooth keyboard, and it can even work as a laptop alternative for email and other light tasks, too.
