Noise has unveiled the Master Buds Open at IFA 2026 in Berlin, its first open-ear earbuds. The clip-on buds carry Sound by Bose tuning and will round out the company's high-end Master Series, which already covers in-ear buds and over-ear headphones. Noise says they'll go on sale in late September in stores and online, including at gonoise.com, with pricing, full specs, and which countries get them coming closer to launch.
If you haven't run into Noise, it's India's biggest smartwatch brand and one of its biggest in earbuds. Bose is even an investor in the company, which is how Sound by Bose tuning is already available through the Master Series. Noise says the Master Buds Open will cost between €99 and €199, with the exact price coming closer to launch.
Why open-ear buds are worth your attention
Open-ear buds rest outside your ear canal and let the sound from the world in while also channeling the sound from whatever you're playing, which means you're more aware of your environment. I hate having my ears plugged, which rules out regular earbuds for me, and headphones, much as I love them, get too heavy to wear all day. Open-ear designs solve both problems. The category is crowded enough now, and we've even got a tested guide of the best ones. The downside comes with a somewhat lowered sound quality, since these buds don't seal your ears, and thus leak bass and detail. With this pair, you'll get Bose-tuned sound at a lower price, which is getting the best of both worlds.

What we know about the Master Buds Open so far
The buds will hang from a flexible C-shaped clip that holds the driver outside your ear canal, with nothing sealing or pressing into your ear. Inside, you have 10.8mm drivers, which Noise says will lift the bass and keep the sound from leaking to people around you. A Dynamic EQ will adjust the sound as you move between places. What that means is that the sound should adapt to give you a similar kind of audio experience, whether you're in a quiet room, a train platform or at the gym. There's spatial audio on top, and the company has so far revealed the silver, grey, and gold colorways.

For calls, you'll get four microphones with a noise-isolating algorithm. These buds also get Google Fast Pair for quicker connection, plus dual pairing, which keeps the buds connected to your phone and laptop at the same time. The charging case has a vinyl-record-inspired design with a brushed metal finish.
Noise also says there will be an AI companion with one-tap transcription on board, so the buds can capture a meeting and hand you a summary. Everyone is bolting an AI assistant onto earbuds these days, though, so I'll hold my opinion on that one until I've tested it.
We don't know the exact price, the battery life, and which countries these will be sold in. Noise's announcement doesn't say whether the US is included, and gonoise.com is the company's India storefront, so you'll have to wait a bit to know if these are coming your way.
The audio brand to watch

Noise is a homeground brand for me. I've watched it build its name on quality, affordable audio gear in a market flooded with cheap, poor-value options. The Bose partnership took them up a notch. I think Noise is the audio brand to watch for the next decade as it continues its global rollout.
The company has done well with its pricier gear so far, and an open-ear entry with Bose acoustics is the natural next step for it. Bose sells its own open-ear buds at a premium, so these buds at a cheaper pricing would be hard to beat. I'm looking forward to testing these when they're out.
