Apple unveiled new Mac mini models today built around its M6 and M5 Pro chips, with pre-orders open now and delivery starting September 22.
Apple says the M6 model delivers up to 4x faster AI performance and 2x faster storage and graphics than the M4 generation it replaces, aimed at everyday tasks and Apple Intelligence features running on-device. The M5 Pro configuration steps up to an 18-core CPU and 20-core GPU for video editing, 3D rendering, and other demanding professional work. Both models add Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, and upgraded Ethernet options, and ship running macOS 27 with Apple Intelligence and Siri built in.
Apple is also highlighting the machine's environmental footprint this generation: the enclosure is built from 100% recycled aluminum, and the overall build uses 50% recycled materials.
Pre-orders are open now on the Apple site, with both models arriving September 22.
