ESR has launched the Xtend 45W Retractable Charger as part of its IFA 2026 lineup. The wall charger has a 3.1ft USB-C cable built into the plug, and the cable will reel itself back in when you're done. You won't have to pack a cable or worry about forgetting it. A second USB-C port on the brick will let you charge another device at the same time, so you can charge your phone and your earbuds from a single plug, or your phone and your laptop.
It costs $35.99 at esrtech.com and will be available on Amazon starting this month.

What the Xtend 45W will get you and how it compares to alternatives
The charger is rated at 45W, which will fast-charge any phone and keep most tablets and lighter laptops going. ESR says the output can peak at up to 60W when a single device asks for more. The company hasn't really detailed how often you'll see that peak figure in reality. I would consider the 45W number for now. It's a GaN charger, which is what lets a brick this small put out this much power without getting too hot.

Belkin sells similar chargers that I would consider the closest rivals for this ESR option. Belkin's 45W retractable charger is $21.99 on Amazon right now, $14 less than the ESR, with a shorter 2.6ft cable. Its 67W retractable charger is $35.99 in black, the same money as the ESR for more wattage and a 3.3ft cable. Neither of the Belkin chargers claims to go above the rated wattage the way the ESR does. However, if you consider the list prices alone, the Belkin 67W is the tough one to argue with.
Should you get the ESR Xtend 45W?
I use ESR cases, screen protectors, and chargers on the regular, and I think the brand offers some of the best value on the market. They're consistent, so you know what to expect. In my experience, ESR also runs heavy discounts almost constantly, so there's a good chance you will be able to get this charger for less than its list price before long. At $35.99 it's a fine buy. If you catch it on one of those discounts, it'll be an easy one.
The Xtend is part of a bigger ESR lineup from IFA that also includes a fan-cooled magnetic charging pad, a 100W retractable car charger, and a wallet with Apple's Find My built in. If you're carrying a bunch of loose cables around, this charger will let you leave some of them at home.
