Gas Buddy is the best!

From Alison Hamilton Grosso on June 13, 2012 :: 10:49 am

We use Gas Buddy all the time - and are often amazed at the differences in gas prices if one wants to drive a mile or 2 away from the busy intersections. I also try to update any gas prices that I see, helping to keep the app fresh and up to date. If a gas station hasn’t been updated recently,the previous price is deleted by the app, eliminating mistakes. Highly recommended!

One of my fave apps is out of milk—a grocery list app which works beautifully and is free. I understand it only works for droid and not iphone.

Parksafe so you don't forget where you parked

From Sally Madden on May 24, 2013 :: 10:41 am

It’s hard to keep track of where you park when you’re in a strange place or city, especially if you are using a rental car! Parksafe takes care of that without you having to rember a thing. Parksafe drops a pin on a map when you park so if you forget you just tap the app and get a path back to your car. Has a timer so you don’t get any parking tickets too!

Roadtrippers - the best app for roadtrips

From Rachel on May 27, 2013 :: 10:57 am

I love the app Roadtrippers (https://roadtrippers.com). You can calculate fuel costs and plan an itinerary as well as save bucket lists of sights and attractions you want to visit on the way to your destination.  They also have guides on particular areas or frequently traveled routes.  They have an ipad/iphone app, which is really cool and allows you to access your itinerary and bucket lists on the go.  I love this app and definitely plan to use it when I go on my next roadtrip!!!
