Today, prepaid mobile carrier Virgin Mobile announced the launch of its first ever no-contract data sharing plan. Called Virgin Mobile Data Done Right, the new Walmart-exclusive plans allow you to share a purchased 4G LTE data allotment between your family’s prepaid lines, adding flexibility and (potentially) saving you money.

Virgin Mobile Data Done Right plans are available in three different flavors. There’s a two-line plan that shares 4GB of 3G/4G LTE data for $65 per month, a three-line plan with 8GB of shared data for $90 per month, and a four-line plan with 12GB of shared data for $115 per month. A $20 starter kit is required to activate each new line.

Extra data, if needed, can be purchased directly from your phone using the Virgin Mobile app for $10 per GB. You can purchase unlimited usage of social networks like Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, along with unlimited usage of streaming music app Pandora, for an additional $5 per month. “Flexible” international plan options are also available.

The new Virgin Mobile Data Done Right plans will be available at Walmart starting on Saturday, January 17 on four specific 4G LTE smartphones: the HTC Desire 510 ($99.88), LG Tribute ($79.88), LG Volt ($149.88) and the new 4.5-inch Samsung Galaxy Core Prime ($129.88). More devices are coming in February.
