Son of Georgian President Sets Record for iPad Speed Typing

by Sabrina Hill on July 05, 2011

Eduard Saakashvili joined his father, Georgian president, Mikheli Saakashvili, as a global leader — for breaking the world record of speed typing on an iPad. The 15-year old completed this feat by typing the English alphabet on his iPad in 5.26 seconds. The previous record for typing the alphabet on an iPad was 6.31 seconds, set by British vlogger and musician, Charlie McDonnell, in 2010.

The junior Saakashvilli's record was certified by an observer from the Guinness Book of World Records.

Saakashvili prepared himself for months to complete the challenge, using only his right hand. According to reports, the Saakashvili family is very proud of Eduard's accomplishment.
